This is the man they harassed : Omaha elder, Nathan Phillips, honoring real Native American warriors in a sacred pipe ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in 2008.

The only “real” American I see in this picture is the native American on the bottom right…
This kid isn’t too smart. His picture on here is forever! I hope this follows him all through life.
From one list..Shameful.
Catholic school students, apparently from Covington Catholic High School, in the Diocese of Covington, Kentucky, at the March for Life attempt to shame and disrespect a man participating in the Indigenous Peoples March.
These actions are not Catholic, not Christian and not acceptable. Would that these students fully understood why they were in Washington, DC: to respect, defend and protect the dignity of all human life. That includes the dignity of this man’s life, and those of indigenous peoples, whose lives have so often been marginalized, denigrated and, yes, ended by those in positions of power and privilege.
I am as disgusted by the contemptuous laughter of the mass of students as I am moved by the quiet dignity of the solitary man who continues to chant. Those students could learn a great deal from this elder, if they had chosen to.
Or if they choose to.
